Chewy watched……..

Avatar in 3D with the spectacles..

My experience with the3d spectacles first..Cause i wore my spectacles  not contact lens because the movie was at 1am. It is almost impossible to get a ticket at the earthly timing unless u book it well in advance online. Got it like 7hrs before the show, plus is full house shortly after our purchase. Back to the 3d spectacles, it keep slipping down my nose cause it was over my spectacles, so i’ve no idea what is supporting it.

The plot is good, the Planet Pandora is such a nice place, with plants and natives that glow in the dark.

The native is so responsible for their planet, unlike earthling.

I would say, is the best movie i’ve watched this year! I really love the ikran riding, the seeds of enywa, and i hate the colonel!

Xmas Eve Dinner @ Ritz Carlton Greehouse

It was a feast, Jack treat!

It was an international buffet, also the lobster night and there was free flow of lobsters.. I saw this piece of “meat” hanging in midair, quite crude i thought, there it stated “the wagyu beef”,  not that crude after all. Too bad i didn’t know which part of the beef is the nicest as i get to chose.

Jack was adventurous enough to try all sort of cheese there, i manage to try three.. lol..

My first nice experience of fine dining.. was great.. it motivated me to work harder to experience all sort of things. Personally,  i value experience more than materialistic stuff.

We didnt bring camera that night because…. both of us do not carry camera phone due to the nature of our work. Such a pity.. no pictures…

Fantastic Mr Fox

Chewy watched…….. Fantastic Mr Fox.

Saw the trailer while watching.. Astro Boy, and Jack so want to watch it! Fantastic Mr Fox was adapted from my favourite childhood author.. Roald Dahl. And seriously… i can’t remember what is the story about. The one i remember is BFG (Big Friendly Giant). I read almost all his books, and i love to buy it for the kids i tutor. And so.. the movie was great! Hilarious and kinda old school.. Is..heart warming. Kinda make me think of my existence in this world again.. what i want to do.. and after watching this movie.. it inspired me to do something about steering my life back on track again! And ya! i’m kind of energized after watching this movie! So.. go watch it!

Pepsi after 3 days of training

Posted by jolyn on December 20, 2009 | No comments

She cannot hide her excitement when she knows i am bringing her out for walk .

She is still the leader. So when out of the house, i will say “slow”.

For the first 5 mins of the walk, her behavior is the worst because she will be the aggressive leader. Quite a work out for me because she’s a muscle girl. Then i will proceed with the “stay” command when she drag me. Kinda work, but only after I tap her nose.

For the last two training, she’d made two friends, Lemon (not sure the breed) and Junior a maltese (I think junior is scare of her)! Making friends is good for her mental development and i hope she will make more friends!

Making Friends is an important aspect for a dog, because when i brought Pepsi to visit her sibling, Lucky girl, she was really scare till she was squatting down, tail in between the leg. That shouldn’t be the way, she should be playing with her!

Hence,  training with friends making session is really crucial.

Strategy 1: 5 Chances when taking a walk

My colleague showed me his sister little golden retriever puppy, this make me want to have another puppy. It is the same puppy breed in the 10 promises to my dog movie. That show made me cry really hard!

My little pepsi is really naughty but i love her coat of hair, it is really black and shiny, like those hair you see in the shampoo commercial, just that hers is short!

I invested quite a bit on her.. and she is already paying out. Everyday, after a hard day at work,  she never fails to rush to the door to lick me. When i get in, she can’t wait to throw her hug at me. Every morning, when i get down my bed, she will lick me all over and want me to pat her. These actions really brighten up my day.

Walking her is really a challenge, she will be the leader and i am the follower. She is getting a little big and to train her is quite hard. She always go berserk when she is out of the door. My strategy is to make her listen to my command.  She will only have 5 chances, If she do not listen to my command for 5 times, we will go home, and i amm only at the second session.

I feel really bad pulling her neck all the time, that is why i will just give her five chance. For the first 2 session, our walk only lasted for 5 mins.

It is our first time trying to apply our new house through HDB website.

Its a location i always wanted cause is near town + is in between our parents house.

Anyway, if plan A fail, we have many back up plans.

Ha.. the power of youth.. must make full use of it now!

Make up

I went to take my passport size photo, and the photo was really different compared to the photo i took back in 2005, when i was a student who did have enough money to buy make up.

This time round, i wore make up – face powder, eyeliner(my best friend), mascara (my good friend), bronzer, blush,  eyebrow pencil.. and the result was great! At least it is a photo that i won’t feel shy when i show it to anyone.

My little make up kit is one of the best investments I’ve so far!

Chewy Learning Jap

Yippie! Finally Jack and I dragged our big fat asses down to Bunka Language school to register for the elementary Japanese class. I’m totally not motivated and disciplined enough to learn myself at home. I prefer a class, where i can interact with the native teacher and also to know more friends! (Cost $$)

Wonder if i could survive this course~ I aim to get JLPT 4 at the end of the 8 months course.

Good Luck to Me!
